BASOTI is based on the belief that young singers want to improve their singing and acting skills and get in touch with the business of singing itself. BASOTI  gives you the space and time to explore your talents and learn new skills for achieving excellence in a competitive field.   We feel that the time with fine teachers and life coaches will help to bring you closer to your dreams and give you the self-confidence necessary to perform without fear.
 
We offer each student 'hands-on' training in opera performance which we are confident will bring your presentations to the next level and give you a clear and insightful perception of the profession.  Lectures and workshops from leading professionals in the areas of voice technique, acting, self-mastery, leadership and public presentation skills will also enable you create a vision for your career and help you identify your goals.  Voice lessons will be offered by renowned voice teachers for for an additional fee.  Sign-up sheets will be on hand throughout the institute.

BASOTI'S THREE-TIERED SYSTEM
 
 
  • Level One offers the singer who has little or no workshop or performance experience the opportunity to prepare and present two or more opera scenes.  You will also have an opportunity to perform on an aria concert.
  • Level Two provides those with some workshop and performance experience with two larger opera scenes and a small role in an opera production, or three opera scenes and an understudy role in one of our productions.  You will also have  the opportunity to perform on an aria concert.
  • Level Three provides singers with both workshop and performance experience the opportunity to study and perform a larger role in an opera production as well as a role in a scene on an opera scene program.  You will also have the opportunity to perform on an aria concert.
